Spring is the perfect time to relax over a delicious cocktail. Whether one likes fruity drinks or something different, there are so many choices. Since drinking cocktails should be an exciting experience, here are some of the fun spring cocktails everyone can make.

Those who love the flower or scent will likely appreciate a Cherry Blossom cocktail. The ingredients are lime and grapefruit juices, tequila, grenadine, and a maraschino cherry or slice of grapefruit for a colorful garnish. Served in a martini glass, some prefer this cocktail in a salt coated drinking glass.

In keeping with the flower-themed cocktails, one drink perfect for the spring is The Garden Rose. Along with a muddled strawberry, the drink also calls for Volcan de mi Tierra Blanco, St. Germain, lemon juice, simple syrup, and rose water. This delicate looking drink even calls for dried flowers as a garnish.

Another fun choice is a Raspberry Lemon & Lime Ginger Beer cocktail. The ingredients are raspberry puree, champagne, some lime juice, raspberries, ginger beer, and limoncello. The raspberries act as a garnish to make the drink as visually appealing as delicious.

Some cocktail drinkers also enjoy one called America’s Cup. This simple drink requires gin and Sweet Vermouth, along with bourbon and orange bitters. After these ingredients have been mixed together, the finishing touch is Ginger Beer. Ideally, this cocktail should be served over ice.

Slice of Life is also a popular springtime cocktail. It calls for gin, honey water, and watermelon juice. These ingredients are added together and then topped with garnishes of basil and watermelon slices.

For the more adventurous time, one unusual cocktail is the Lizzy Lake. It calls for gin, rose water, powdered sugar, and lemon juice. Yet the unexpected ingredient in this drink is an egg white. The drink is finished with a cucumber slice as the garnish.

Literature aficionados will likely appreciate the aptly named Gatsby 7. The ingredients are lime, simple syrup, apple juice, brandy, and gin. The finishing touch is a splash of lime soda.

Last but not least, adventurous cocktail drinkers enjoy one called Mexican Firing Squad. The ingredients are pomegranate juice, grenadine, lime juice, and bitters. The pomegranate juice must be boiled before the ingredients are combined.
